Job Designation : Software Development Engineer

Qualification : Bachelor’s / Master’s degree

Experience : Freshers

Skill  Set :

  1. Strong object-oriented programming background, C/C++ preferred.
  2. Expetise with Linux and/or Windows operating system development.
  3. Ability to write high quality code with a keen attention to detail.
  4. Knowledge in MATLAB, Simulink and Model based designs.
  5. Basic understanding of Digital electronics and FPGA.
  6. Good analytical, problem solving skills and willing to think outside the box.
  7. Experience with software development processes and tools such as debuggers, source code control systems (GitHub) and profilers is a plus.
  8. Effective communication and problem-solving skills.

Job Description :

Software Development Engineer will be a member of a core team of incredibly talented industry specialists and contributing to the ‘Vitis Model Composer’ product.

‘Vitis Model Composer’ is a leading industry-standard model based designing tool to accelerates the path to production for current and next generation AMD SoC products. It leverages rapid design exploration within the MathWorks Simulink® environment and automatically generates hardware using a simple push-button flow.

This role provides an opportunity to learn and explore various aspects of software engineering, and product development cycle.

  1. Responsible for design and development of Vitis Model Composer product
  2. Stay informed of software and hardware trends and innovations, especially pertaining to algorithms and architecture 
  3. Design and develop new groundbreaking technologies 
  4. Debugging/fix existing issues and research alternative, more efficient ways to accomplish the same work 
  5. Develop technical relationships with peers and partners
