GE Digital looking for fresher graduates with good programming knowledge and having sound knowledge of cloud Technologies ( AWS or Azure) for the role of Software Engineer.

Job Designation : Software Engineer 

Salary : 8 LPA – 14 LPA

Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree

Experience : Freshers/ 0-1 years

Skill Set :

  1. Strong programming skills in C, C++, Java, Python, any scripting languages.
  2. Proficient in Cloud Technologies ( AWS or Azure).
  3. Good understanding of GITHUB/Terraform/Ansible/ArgoCD/CrossPlane etc.
  4. General understanding of the impacts of technology choice to the software development life cycle.
  5. Aware of methods and practices such as Lean/Agile/XP, etc.
  6. Good understanding of Docker/Kubernetes/EKS/AKS etc.
  7. Should know the Scrum/Kanban Best practices.
  8. Prior work experience in an agile environment, or introductory training on Lean/Agile. Aware of and able to apply continuous integration (CI).
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Job Description :

Responsible for designing, building, delivering and maintaining software applications & services. Working in the areas of machine, cloud, platform and/or application. Responsible for software lifecycle including activities such as requirement analysis, documentation/procedures and implementation.

  1. Collaborate with system engineers, frontend developers and software developers to implement solutions that are aligned with and extend shared platforms and solutions.
  2. Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques.
  3. Writes codes that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project.
  4. Build features such as web services and Queries on existing tables.
  5. Understand performance parameters and assess application performance.
  6. Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using language of choice.
