Skill Set :
- Good knowledge of Scripting UNIX and PSQL (Basic scripting knowledge.
- Strong in SQL scripting in Postgres.
- Expertise writing complex SQL scripts for data manipulation and data management (Updates, Deletes, Purges ,etc..)
- Familiar with any cloud computing platforms.
- In-depth understanding of data management (e.g. permissions, recovery, security, and monitoring)
- Strong written and verbal communication along with proven fluency of English
Job Description :
The task of a PostgreSQL developer includes building database code, energizing the company’s cloud platform, among others. The candidate will build efficient APIs and work closely with the product managers. They will be required to manipulate datasets when required.
- Coordinate with the developers, managers and leadership teams to build effective databases
- Collaborate with product managers to make sure database code meets demand
- Communicate with front-end developers to define plain yet dynamic APIs
- Keep a check on data structures and quality of data with DBAs
- Integrate and maintain database code in procedures, scripts, queries, and views
