Job Designation : Software DevOps Engineer

Qualification : BE /BTech/MCA

Experience : Freshers / Experienced

Skill Set :

  1. Good automation and programming skills.
  2. Strong coding and troubleshooting skills in shell scripting and Python or Java
  3. Sound Full Stack Development knowledge and DevOps skills.
  4. Familiarity with configuration management and automation frame works such as Ansible, Chef, Terraform, etc
  5. Python/nodejs/c# scripting, Power BI, PowerApps, Sharepoint, PostgreSQL and MongoDB/MariaDB/MySQL.
  6. Working experience implementing, operating and optimizing CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, CircleCI, etc.)
  7. Knowledge of any container orchestration frameworks (Kubernetes, ECS/Fargate, Docker Swarm, Mesos, etc.)
  8. Extensive experience as a Linux system administrator supporting enterprise computing platforms, and systems.
  9. Experience with Terraform and Ansible is a plus.
  10. Excellent communication skills (Oral, written and listening ability).
  11. Strong Logical & Analytical thinking.

Job Description :

  1. In this role you will make your mark by focusing on automating, creating the pipelines and shared platforms/services that other teams will use to power HPE IT Cloud Services offering.
  2. You’ll use Jenkins, Anchore, Vault, and DTR to create and deploy containers/pods into a Kubernetes/istio container orchestrator platform that is running a fleet of applications, micro services, MLOps/AI and DBaaS workloads.
  3. You’ll focus on creating the automation to onboard/support multiple application teams and users along with running Cloud Shared Services as seamless and as reliable as possible. This will include refining and further building out the existing monitoring and logging infrastructure, which includes New Relic, Elastic, Prometheus, and Grafana.
  4. In addition to these responsibilities a key part of the role is making the experience better for all the application teams that rely on the IT Cloud Shared Services.
  5. You’ll be working as part of a team of distributed DevOps engineers who build, automate and support various Cloud Shared Services platforms/services. We believe in fostering a respectful and collaborative environment where everyone can learn.
