worked on the project named Evaluating Binding specificity of Self-Assembled Metal Complexes towards G- Quadruplex Structures. – I have employed a multi-tool computational approach to explore the interaction of transition metal complexes with disease-associated G-quadruplex (G4) conformations. Utilizing Gromacs for molecular dynamics (MD) sim- ulations, PyMOL for structure visualization, Discovery Studio and Autodock for docking studies, and VMD for trajectory analysis, we observed selective binding between specific complexes and distinct G4 structures. Notably, palladium complexes displayed high binding affinity towards telomeric G4s, prevalent in cancer cells. This in silico investigation underscores the potential of computational design in developing G4-targeted therapeutics with enhanced selectivity for cancer-related structures.

worked on the project named Assessment of Antioxidant Activity by DPPH assay in Simarouba. – The research involved extraction and preparation of Simarouba leaf components, followed by concentration and analysis using a spectrophotometer. By measuring the DPPH radical reduction, we quantified the leaves’ free radical scavenging capacity. Additionally, techniques like rotary evaporation and centrifugation are employed for efficient sample processing.
Hands on Training
Hands on Traing in Molecular Markers Technology. – During the training, I gained proficiency in essential techniques like Gel electrophoresis,PCR (Polymerase Chain Re- action),UV/Vis spectrophotometry,SDS-PAGE (Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate-Polyacrylamide Gel Electrophoresis),DNA isolation,DNA quantitation. This training empowered me to delve deeper into the fascinating world of molecular biology and its applications in various fields.
