Genpact inviting applications for the role of Principal Consultant – AWS Devops Software Engineer.

Job Designation : AWS Devops Software Engineer

Qualification : Bachelor’s degree

Experience : Freshers / experienced

Skill Set :

  1. Strong knowledge in Python coding.
  2. Sound knowledge/Experience in deploying and monitoring web applications in Azure/AWS /GCP.
  3. In-depth knowledge of cloud services (AWS) and hands-on experience securing cloud services.
  4. Strong understanding of system security and data protection.
  5. Expertise in SDLC process used tools like JIRA, Git, Jenkins etc. 
  6. Experience in building CI/CD Pipelines, Code Repositories, Test Plans, Artifacts and Agents and integration with third party tools like JIRA, Git, Jenkins etc.
  7. Knowledge in administering and performance tuning of application stacks, such as Tomcat, JBoss, Apache, Ruby, NGINX, and others.Excellent problem-solving and collaboration skills.
  8. Knowledge in systems reliability, load balancing 
  9. Strong communication and written skills.

Job Description :

  1. Best practices for code modularization, versioning, parameterization and reusability of codebases.
  2. Experience in SDLC process used tools like JIRA, Git, Jenkins etc.
  3. Worked on templates to deploy and manage infrastructure as a code on AWS.
  4. Designed, developed and maintained infrastructure as a code 9IaC) using AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK) in Python language.
  5. Leveraged CDK constructs to simplify the provisioning of complex AWS resources reducing time and enhancing code reusability.
  6. Created custom CDK constructs to reuse them in different projects.
  7. Implemented CI/CD pipelines using AWS CDK to automate the deployment of infrastructure.
  8. Integrated Code quality checks like SonarQube, OSS Scan, Prisma scan into CI/CD pipelines to automatically analyse code quality and finding the vulnerabilities in the code.
  9.  Integrated CDK Nag into AWS CDK to perform static analysis of CDK-generated cloudformation templates to ensure compliance with AWS best practices for security.
  10. Experience with troubleshooting, monitoring, and logging of deployment process.
  11. Research new technologies or approaches that will improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  12. Automation of operational activities and tasks.
