Skill Set :

1. Proficient in engineering and delivering software products.
2. Solid understanding of the full mobile development life cycle
3. Familiar with Unit testing/UI testing
4. Good knowledge of cloud environments,  AWS.
5. Proven hands-on experience on iOS development
6. Sound knowledge of Swift and Objective-C  
7. Sound knowledge of Mobile Architecture – Clean Swift, Viper, MVVM
8. Sound knowledge of POP, OOPS, SOLID Design concepts
9. Sound knowledge of Cocoa, Memory management, Design patterns, multi-threading for mobile development
10. Familiar with security practices for mobile development
11. Should be familiar with different instruments like memory, profiler, debugger etc
12. Should be familiar with web services, session management
13. Good troubleshooting skills.
14. Excellent communication skills.

Job Description :

1. Develop and maintain software products in Smart Channels entire technology stack. Mobile apps (iOS) and supporting services.
2. Provide support across the end-to-end delivery and run lifecycle. Carry out software development, testing and operational support activities with the ability to move between the technology stack.
3. Advocate and advance modern software development practices within the mobile engineering community.
4. Grow the technical expertise of mobile engineering community
5. Helping with designing, maintaining and improving all aspects of the mobile software delivery lifecycle
6. Collaborate with technical leaders and product owners to contribute to product and project strategy, code standards, roadmap definition, and requirements gathering
7. Collaborate with the recruiting team and regional Heads of Engineering to attract, onboard and retain diverse top talent
8. Participate in broader discussions about mobile software architecture
9. Working with Ops, Dev and Test Engineers to ensure operational issues (performance, operator intervention, alerting, design defect related issues, etc.) are identified and addressed at all stages of a product or service release / change
10. Liaise with other engineers, architects, agile coaches, and other stakeholders to understand and drive the Smart Channels software products
11. Work closely with teams, product owners, agile coaches and other stakeholders to ensure we deliver world-class tools and capabilities for our engineering community
12. Actively participate in the Engineering Discipline and associated communities
13. Keep up to date and have expertise on current tools, technologies and areas like cyber security and regulations pertaining to aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency.
