Job Designation : Software Engineer

Salary : 7 LPA – 12 LPA

Qualification : Bachelor’s / Master’s degree

Experience : Freshers / 0-2 yrs

Skill Set :

1. Good knowledge of programming languages, C/C++ and Python.
2. Sound knowledge of SQL Queries and Unix.
3. Good knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle.
4. Sound knowledge of Java, JavaScript, NodeJS and ReactJS.
5. Familiarity with various software programming techniques and software development tools is a must.
6. Experience developing JavaScript based single page applications using Web-Services and JavaScript libraries.
7. Experience in Java Projects
8. Experience in Selenium script development and API automation preferred.
9. Skilled in integration approaches and strategies
10. Advanced HTML skills: HTML5, CSS 3, XHTML, JSP would be an added advantage
11. Excellent problem solving, troubleshooting, debugging and analytical skills
12. Experience as a member of a scrum team is a plus

Job Description:

1. Develop, troubleshoot, debug software programs while also ensuring quality of these through effective automation testing approach.
2. Create prototypes, write unit test scripts, and deploy solutions to different deployment environments.
3. Test the application and build automated tests to exercise different aspects of the applications.
4. Take ownership of the issues logged by customers and come up with root cause analysis and solution of issues reported.
5. Translate user requirements into technical solutions.
6. Resolve development / troubleshooting solution issues and get final delivery done according to time constraints.
7. Execute, maintain, and review the results of existing automated tests, filing issues, and fixing tests as necessary. Create automated tests for new features being developed.
8. Follow quality standards, control methods and theories to be utilized during manufacturing, testing and inspection to access product quality.
9. Analyze code coverage reports and implement new code to cover untested areas of product.
10. May need to mentor new team members, and take responsibility of sprint and release commitments, impediment resolution, handling escalations.
11. Provide occasional support to new team members.
12. Focus on quality and application performance.
13. Follow the SCRUM framework & methodology requirements laid out by the team.
