HPE hiring fresher Software Engineer with good understanding of basic testing, coding,  debugging procedure and understanding of firmware design tools and languages.

Job Designation : Software Engineer

Qualification : Bachelor’s / Master’s degree

Experience : Freshers / 0 – 2 years

Skill Set :

  1. Proficient in at least one programming language Java, Python etc..
  2. Sound understanding of software systems design tools and languages.
  3. Good understanding of design for software systems running on multiple platform types
  4. Strong knowledge of cloud computing platforms such as AWS, Azure or Google Cloud.
  5. Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools, such as CI/CD.
  6. Solid understanding of basic testing, coding, and debugging procedures.
  7. Good analytical and problem solving skills.
  8. Good written and verbal communication skills; mastery in English and local language.

Job Description :

  1. Analyzes, designs, programs, debugs and modifies firmware (e.g., DSP, embedded code, BIOS). Work often involves analog and digital hardware and real-time operating systems.
  2. Contributes to assignments of limited scope by applying technical concepts and theoretical knowledge acquired through specialized training, education, or previous experience.
  3. Acts as team member by providing information, analysis and recommendations in support of team efforts. Exercises independent judgment within defined parameters.
  4. Codes and programs enhancements, updates, and changes for portions and subsystems of firmware, including DSP, embedded code, EFI drivers, EFI applications and BIOS/UEFI.
  5. Executes established test plans and protocols for assigned portions of code; identifies, logs, and debugs assigned issues.
  6. Develops understanding of and relationship with internal and outsourced development partners on firmware design and development.
  7. Participates as a member of project team of other firmware engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost effective and high quality solutions for low to moderately-complex products.
