As the Supplier Growth & Marketplace team, we own the technology platform to enable suppliers to onboard, create listings for their products, and start selling them on Meesho’s marketplace. As Software Development Engineer – I, you’ll help us in our mission to enable Meesho to have the simplest seller experience across all e-commerce platforms

Meesho hiring fresher Android Developer with strong knowledge of software development, having proficiency in programming and scripting languages such as Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, and Perl/Bash.

Job Designation : Android Developer

Salary : 12 LPA – 24 LPA

Qualification : BTech

Experience : Freshers / 0 – 2 years

Skill Set :

1. Proficient in programming and scripting languages such as Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, and Perl/Bash.
2. Familiarity with Java, Kotlin, Android SDK, and the ecosystem
3. Familiarity with Material Design guidelines, common mobile UX patterns, and anti-patterns
4. Experience with common Android libraries like Retrofit, OkHttp, Picasso, RxJava, Gson Arch-components etc.
5. Experience with different programming paradigms, esp. functional and reactive programming
6. Familiarity with consuming REST APIs, and what makes them RESTful
7. Familiarity with Git and continuous integration
8. Proficiency at object-oriented programming and multi-threading
9. Understanding of advanced Android concepts like Custom Views, Accessibility Services,
10. Understanding of different architectural patterns (esp. MVVM) and their testability

Job Description :

• Perform code reviews, write unit tests, and contribute to architectural planning and refactoring
• Work on bug-fixing and improving application performance
• Design and build new features and improvements for the Android platform
• Mentor interns and support team members
• Collaborate closely with QA, Engineers, Product Managers, and Designers across the company
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
