As part of my internship at Radiant IT Services Pvt. Ltd., I worked on a live project titled Attendance Management System, which was designed to manage and automate the attendance process for students. The project was built using a full-stack development approach, incorporating both frontend and backend technologies. Key Responsibilities: Backend Development: I was responsible for designing and implementing RESTful APIs using Node.js and Express.js to handle the core functionality of attendance tracking, user management, and report generation. Frontend Development: I contributed to building the user interface using React.js and Material UI, ensuring the design was responsive and user-friendly. Database Management: Used MongoDB to store and manage student attendance records and user data, ensuring data integrity and optimizing query performance. Authentication: Implemented user authentication and authorization using JWT (JSON Web Tokens) to provide secure access to the system for both students and administrators. Real-time Features: Integrated real-time updates for attendance marking and report viewing using JavaScript and WebSocket. Technologies Used: Frontend: React.js, Material UI, JavaScript Backend: Node.js, Express.js Database: MongoDB Version Control: Git, GitHub Tools & Libraries: JWT for authentication, WebSocket for real-time updates Achievements: Successfully developed and deployed a system capable of tracking the attendance of over 1000 students. Reduced manual attendance tracking time by 80% through automation. Implemented advanced features such as attendance reports with filtering and sorting options for easier analysis. Collaboration: Worked in a 6-member team, collaborating closely with other developers, UI/UX designers, and the project manager. Used Agile methodologies, participated in daily stand-ups, and conducted code reviews. Key Learnings: Enhanced skills in JavaScript, React, Node.js, and MongoDB. Gained experience in building scalable and secure web applications. Improved collaboration and communication skills while working in a cross-functional team environment.
