Played a key role in building the backend architecture of the Dynamic Health Coach project using Java Spring Boot. Focused on creating scalable, flexible, and high-performance microservices to enhance the overall application structure. Developed an efficient microservice to integrate data from Google Fit and Apple Health, enabling seamless storage in MongoDB for comprehensive health data tracking and analysis. Created a structured schema supporting detailed storage of food entries, customized meals, and recipes. Created optimized database views for quick retrieval of recent food, meal, recipes and daily logs, improving dashboard performance and streamlining user searches for essential data. Created extensive unit tests for the APIs, validating functional accuracy and efficiency. This rigorous testing reduced QA time and ensured a robust, high-quality application, significantly improving reliability and performance.
