There marks a lot of problems faced by students and job seekers while finding an ideal job. Sometimes lack of ‘skills’, ‘confidence’, ‘finance’, ‘appropriate soft skills’, ‘knowledge’, ‘presentation’, ‘experience’ are the reasons for an individual to land into a wrong job or to lose a desired job, or to even set up a bad work culture. Some workout on the above-mentioned factors after identification of the problem in one self can help to set up a good work culture or to land on a desired job.
Desire without knowledge is undeserving. Development should be a cascade and should not stop. Writing a resume in an attractive way can help about 60% but what about the skills to be added? How to develop them? Any company would want a skilled laborer but then acquiring such skills can be very tiring. Nobody wants to give training for the same but want skilled people. How can companies receive without giving? Acquiring skills these days are payed internship or less paying internship (full time). It is quite difficult for a person to invest finance and time on education for a period of 5 years and then invest even more to practice what he/she learnt. That is one reason why acquiring a set of skilled people is more tedious and time consuming. Half of them would have already dropped their dream and interest and the rest of them are getting trained. Drawbacks in educational culture have opened ways to a lot of unethical business that charge candidates highly to either train them or/and provide them with a hope to make them land in desired job.
Another problem is unequal opportunity, a job is offered only if a person is male, in other words, females are not handed the job because the responsibilities require some commitments which the company believes only a man can fulfil. Then why to provide education to females in the same field?
There is a big job pool but no catch of job. As education is everyone’s right, so should job be!
Education along with skill training can do a lot more than ever dreamt of. Setting up work experience as a part of regular curriculum would help aspiring candidates to excel in theory as well as practical aspect. Skill experience should be given in actual working environment, so that everyone gets acquainted with work culture too. If practiced so, then there won’t be any hesitation in hiring candidates who have cleared studies very recently. They would have a brief work experience. Companies should be considerate to give freshers chance. Afterall, we are not born brave, but we become brave by doing brave things.
