Module 1 · Speaking without freezing Lesson 1 of 15
The 90-second introduction that works
Present, then past, then future: who you are and what you are applying for, one thing you have built or learned, and what you want next. Ninety seconds, three parts, no life story.
Worked example
"I finished my B.Com in June and I have been learning SQL and Excel since. I built a region-wise sales report from a real dataset and presented it to my college club. I am looking for an MIS executive role where I can keep working with data and reporting." That is complete, and it is ninety seconds.
Your practice task
Record your own introduction on your phone, listen back once, and cut every sentence that is not one of the three parts.
Do this before moving on. Reading a solution teaches the shape of it; typing it teaches you.
Key takeaway
Present, then past, then future: who you are and what you are applying for, one thing you have built or learned, and what you want next. Ninety seconds, three parts, no life story.
