Job Designation : Software Engineer – Cyber Security Intern

Qualification :  BTech / MTech

Experience : Freshers

Salary: ₹10.5 LPA

Skill Set :

  1. A recent graduate or postgraduate with a background in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
  2. A foundational understanding of key cybersecurity concepts, including the CIA triad (confidentiality, integrity, availability), threat actors, attack vectors, security protocols (e.g., encryption, firewalls), tools, frameworks, and regulatory standards, along with common security practices.
  3. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex data, identify risks, and provide solutions with attention to detail and accuracy.
  4. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. A collaborative team player, able to work effectively in a team environment and learn from experienced professionals.

Job Description :

  1. Assist in identifying, assessing, and prioritising security vulnerabilities across systems, networks, and assets by conducting regular security scans, analysing scan results, documenting findings and tracking remediation efforts.
  2.  Support risk assessments by analysing vulnerabilities and security threats, track risk metrics, and help develop and update strategies for mitigating and managing cybersecurity risks across the organization.
  3.  Support in collecting and analysing cybersecurity data to identify risks, develop reporting dashboards, and document security incidents and vulnerabilities, ensuring accurate records for internal and external reporting.
  4. Assist with ad-hoc cybersecurity tasks, participate in team meetings, contribute to brainstorming sessions, and collaborate with other departments to ensure cybersecurity initiatives are effectively executed.

Internship Duration: 06 months
