Airtel looking for a dedicated and highly motivated Software Development Engineer Test with good programming skills , having good knowledge of test design techniques and automation.

Job Designation : Software Development Test Engineer

Qualification :  Bachelor’s Degree

Experience : Freshers

Skill Set :

1. Good coding skill in any language or scripting language like C, C++, Javascript, python.
2. Good knowledge of test design techniques and automation.
3. Experience on automating Desktop products(Windows, Mac).
4. Understanding with Test Cycle Management tools like JIRA or relevant.
5. Knowledge of data structures and algorithms and good object-oriented design and coding skills.
6. Good analytical skill and logical reasoning.
7. Excellent organizational and analytical abilities, with a keen eye for detail.

Job Description :

1. You own the end to end testing of the data pipeline and platform setup and set best practices.
2. You create the necessary automation library and framework as required and build automation test.
3. You ensure the health of the platform by putting the necessary checks and balances where ever is appropriate.
4. You are also responsible for driving meetings and new initiatives and innovation.
5. You participate in all day-to-day QA tasks.
6. Research into new test/validation technologies/methodologies.
7. Work with cross-functional teams to ship high-quality releases.
8. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to a team of SDET and Sr SDET depending on the role you are placed in.
9. Encourage and drive initiatives which promote innovation and technical excellence.
10. Constantly look for improvements in software development and testing processes.
