Skill Set :
- Sound knowledge of Java, Perl, Ruby, C#, and/or PHP.
- Basics in OS concepts / Linux/Unix Systems administration (Ubuntu, CentOS, RedHat, Solaris, etc).
- Basic knowledge in Networking (TCP/IP, DNS) /Database
- Familiar with Linux/Windows system administration fundamentals.
- Good knowledge of Database design and Optimization OR BigData Analysis OR Network administration OR Dev-ops.
- Exposure to AWS, Virtualization (VMware, Xen, Hypervisor).
- Expertise in managing full application stacks from the OS up through custom applications.
- Experienced at setting up monitoring / alarming for production DB environments.
- Some experience with NoSQL technologies like DynamoDB , Redis, MongoDB, Cassandra or Riak.
- Good understanding on DNS, TCP/IP protocols.
- Exposure to security concepts / best practices.
- Understanding on IPsec, VPN, Load Balancing, Iperf, MTR, Routing Protocols, SSH, Network.
- Monitoring / Troubleshooting tools.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills with customer service experience / strong customer focus.
- Self-starter who is excited about learning new technologies on a regular basis.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
