Comcast looking for a savvy Software Data Engineer to join growing SPIDER (Comcast’s Cybersecurity & Privacy Engineering Research and Development) team whose mission is to build the next security and privacy data tools.

Job Designation : Software Data Engineer

Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree

Experience : Freshers / 0-2 Years

Skill Set :

1. Sound understanding in Python concepts.
2. Good understanding of SQL & NoSQL concepts.
3. Exposure with ML libraries including Pandas, SciPy, NumPy, etc.
4. Familiar with software development lifecycle.
5. Basic understanding of ETL concepts and Spark.
6. Understanding of version control, GIT preferred.
7. Sound knowledge of software development and testing concepts.
8. Strong Development and Debugging skills.
9. Good verbal and written communication skills.

Job Description :

1. Build data pipelines for optimal storage and retrieval to meet business requirements.
2. Build reliable, scalable, CICD driven streaming and batch data engineering pipelines.
3. We need you to assist us in developing high-quality, high-performing, and secure data integration and ETL processes and conduct complex data analysis.
4. Work closely with Researchers, ML Engineers, and Application developers to gather requirements to prototype, develop, validate, build systems for collecting, validating, and preparing high-quality data.
5. Proactively anticipating problems and appropriately communicating to the team and management in a timely manner.
