Genpact  inviting applications from fresher graduates for the role of Software Consultant – DevOps Engineer.

Job Designation : Software Consultant – DevOps Engineer

Qualification : Bachelor’s degree

Experience : Freshers / experienced

Skill Set :

  1. Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps culture.
  2. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell.
  3. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  4. Knowledge of infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
  5. Familiarity with database management, both SQL and NoSQL databases.
  6. Strong knowledge of cloud environment, preferably AWS and their services related to data storage and processing.
  7. Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) and infrastructure-as-code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  8. Experience with CI/CD tools, AWS Code Pipeline, ECR, preferably GitLab and docker containerization.
  9. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  10. Strong communication and collaboration skills. 

Job Description :

  1. Take responsibility for maintaining and optimizing our data lake infrastructure.
  2. Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines for the data lake infrastructure on AWS using Git Lab.
  3. Develop and manage pipelines to test and deploy data model.
  4. Develop and manage pipelines to build artifacts, docker images from source code and ensure the reliable delivery of frequent code changes to various environments.
  5. Artifact, docker image promotion pipelines with approval stages to higher environments.
  6. Develop and manage automated tests as part of the pipeline.
  7. Automate repetitive tasks and processes to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention.
  8. Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in DevOps and create a roadmap to implement the latest practices that are useful for our data lake infrastructure.
