Genpact inviting applications for the role of  Software Consultant – Selenium & Javascript.

Job Designation : Software Consultant – Selenium & Javascript

Qualification : Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree

Experience : Freshers/Experienced

Skill Set :

  1. Proficient in Basic & Scripting knowledge of Javascript/Typescript .
  2. Good knowledge of Testing tools and Automation frameworks
  3. Software Testing experience with Web or SaaS Platform based products, SQL Server databases.
  4. Working knowledge on cloud technologies (AZURE, AWS).
  5. Expertise on building Test Automation Frameworks specifically in Java, Javascript / Type Script.
  6. Familiar with relational database design.
  7. good working knowledge of SQL for querying, updating, and deleting data. 
  8. Experience to one of the following frameworks Playwright, WebDriver IO, Protractor, Cypress.
  9. Experience in BDD Framework like Cucumber.
  10. Experience testing web services (SOAP/REST; Throughput, Performance under Load, etc.).
  11. Experience testing hosted or SaaS-based solutions.
  12. Strong proficiency with functional, regression, and stability testing techniques.
  13. Experience working in a cross-functional development team with the ability to influence quality of products in that environment.
  14. Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems.
  15. Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts.
  16. Strong oral and written communication skills.
  17. Effective team building and problem-solving abilities.

Job Description :

When building software, we will be going through many stages from initial requirements to going live, it’s important to ensure that everything works according to specification. QA tester will seek bugs, identify issues, report them, and see that they are dealt with. 

  1. Understand Requirements from the Client, gather, analyze and devise test scenarios.
  2. Clarify all requirements & be able to provide proper Estimation during Sprint Planning.
  3. Develop Test Plan, Strategies, Test Cases and Maintain the existing test artifacts.
  4. Design the Necessary Test Bed along with test data required for Testing.
