Job Designation : Software Engineer  Application Support

Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree

Experience : Freshers

Skill Set :

1.  Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or PowerShell.
2. Basic understanding of relational databases and SQL queries.
3. Familiarity with ITIL principles or IT Service Management concepts.
4. Knowledge of Software Development LifeCycle (SDLC).
5. Good knowledge of customer support skills.
6. Sound technical knowledge and  troubleshooting skills.
7. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
8. Proactive and eager to learn new technologies and skills.
9. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
10. Prior internship or coursework experience in application support is advantageous but not required.
11. Certifications in relevant technologies (e.g., ITIL Foundation, Microsoft Certified Professional, etc.) are a plus.
12. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Job Description :

 Application Support Analyst  will be responsible for providing support to our enterprise applications, ensuring their smooth operation, and resolving any issues that arise.

1. Provide first-line support for users of our enterprise applications via phone, email, or ticketing system.
2. Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to application software and ensure timely resolution.
3. Collaborate with senior support analysts and developers to escalate complex issues as needed.
4. Assist in monitoring and maintaining the performance, security, and availability of applications.
5. Document support activities, solutions, and procedures for future reference.
6. Participate in training sessions to enhance your technical skills and understanding of our applications.
7. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by suggesting process enhancements and automation opportunities.
