Genpact  seeking a skilled DevOps Support Software Engineer to join our dynamic team.

Job Designation : DevOps Support Software Engineer

Qualification : Bachelor’s degree

Experience : Freshers / Experienced

Skill Set :

1. Proficiency in programming languages  Java and Python.
2. Strong proficiency in TypeScript, Node. js, and React for application deployment and support.
3. Good understanding of networking concepts, web servers (Nginx, Apache), and databases (SQL, NoSQL).
4. Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps practices.
5. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
6. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and configuration management tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible).
7. Ability to troubleshoot complex issues ranging from system resources to application stack traces.
8. Experience with version control systems (Git) and collaboration tools (Jira, Confluence).
9. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
10. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
11. Certifications in cloud platforms (AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer).
12. Knowledge of serverless architectures and microservices.
13. Experience with log management and monitoring tools (ELK stack, Prometheus, Grafana).

Job Description :

This role combines deep technical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues, ensuring smooth operations and continuous improvement of our systems.

1. Provide operational support for cloud-based infrastructure, focusing on availability, scalability, performance, and security.
2. Collaborate with development teams to deploy and operate TypeScript, Node.js, and React applications.
3. Automate and streamline operations and processes using CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code principles.
4. Monitor system health and performance, and respond to incidents, outages, and alerts.
5. Perform regular system maintenance, upgrades, and enhancements.
6. Implement and maintain security best practices across all environments.
7. Participate in on-call rotations and respond to production issues promptly.
8. Document processes, procedures, and troubleshooting steps for internal knowledge base.
9. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project goals and operational requirements.
