Genpact inviting applications for the role of Lead Software Engineer, Java Front end Engineer.

Job Designation : Software Engineer, Java Front end

Qualification : BE/B Tech/MCA

Experience : Freshers / Experienced

Skill Set :

  1. Advanced knowledge of JavaScript, CSS, and HTML.
  2. Familiarity with back-end programming languages like Kotlin or Java.
  3. Good understanding of relational databases eg. MSSQL.
  4. Expertise building rich JavaScript / TypeScript web applications, using leading frameworks and libraries, like React, Angular and Vue.
  5. Understanding and experience with unit, integration and end-to-end testing.
  6. Good  knowledge of DevOps practices including Git, CI/CD, monitoring.
  7. Solid understanding of UI design patterns and usability is your strength.
  8. Familiar with browser rendering behaviour, security and performance.
  9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Description :

As a Frontend Engineer, you will help develop the data-driven solutions that create a 10x impact for our end-users. You will build and own innovative web applications using advanced JavaScript, CSS, and HTML, with a desire to achieve exceptional design fidelity, usability, accessibility, and performance across both desktop and mobile browsers.

  1. Responsible for solid technical execution of web projects through hands-on development, quality assurance and prototyping.
  2. Understand of agile development methodology and practice it in day to day work.
  3. Ensure DevOps principles are adopted in applications.
  4. Undertake impact assessment of change requests/incidents against applications / products within domain.
  5. Working as part of scrum teams, deliver technical stories within sprint cycles.
  6. Responsible for story based development & unit test and adherence to all coding standards.
