Job Designation : Software Engineer – RDBMS with Python

Qualification : Bachelor’s degree

Experience : Freshers / experienced

Skill Set :

  1. Solid understanding of Python programming.
  2. Basic understanding of front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
  3. Sound  RDBMS knowledge (preferably DB2/Sybase/MSSQL/PostgreSQL).
  4. Good understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns.
  5. Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum and ability to deliver solutions under this methodology.
  6. Strong analytical and design skills.
  7. Effective communication, presentation, and collaboration skills.

In this role, you will be responsible for coding, testing and delivering high quality deliverables, and should be willing to learn new technologies.

  1. Design, implement, and maintain RDBMS databases, ensuring optimal performance, scalability, and data integrity.
  2. Utilize Python/Shell scripting to automate database tasks, such as data extraction, transformation, loading, monitoring, and maintenance.
  3. Monitor and optimize database performance, identifying and resolving bottlenecks, and implementing performance tuning techniques.
  4. Implement and enforce data security and access controls, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  5. Conduct database capacity planning, forecasting future requirements, and implementing necessary scaling strategies.
  6. Troubleshoot and resolve complex database-related issues, collaborating closely with developmentand operations teams.
  7. Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in RDBMS systems, PostGreS DB and scriptinglanguages (Python/Shell), and evaluate their potential application within our organization.
