Job Designation : Software Engineer – ETL Manual Tester

Qualification : Bachelor’s degree

Experience : Freshers / Experinced

Skill Set :

  1. Proficient in test automation, with a focus on data and ETL processes.
  2. Strong experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks and strategies. (not UI/API test automation frameworks, but data related frameworks)
  3. Proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies.
  4. Hands-on experience with test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python).
  5. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  6. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities. 

Job Description :

  1. Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive test automation strategy tailored to the Data Transformation/ETL program’s specific needs.
  2. Design, develop, and maintain robust automation frameworks that facilitate efficient script creation, execution, and maintenance.
  3. Identify opportunities for automation within the software development process and implement solutions that enhance testing efficiency and coverage.
  4. Develop and maintain automated test scripts for data validation, ETL processes, and end-to-end data workflows.
  5. Ensure automated tests are integrated into the CI/CD pipeline for continuous testing and feedback.
  6. Monitor and analyze automated test results, identifying issues and areas for improvement in data quality and process efficiency.
  7. Work closely with the test management team to align automation efforts with overall testing strategies and objectives.
  8. Collaborate with developers and business analysts to understand system requirements and ensure automated tests accurately reflect business logic and data integrity needs.
  9. Provide detailed reports on automation metrics, including test coverage, defect detection rates, and automation ROI.
