Goldman Sachs looking for a fresher Software Engineering – Associate with expertise in Java development, having sound knowledge  in automated testing and SDLC concepts.

Job Designation : Software Engineering – Associate

Qualification : Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree

Experience : Freshers / 0 – 1 year

Skill Set :

  1. Strong programming skills and experience with languages, such as C++, Python, R, Matlab.
  2. Hands-on software development experience preferably in Java, C/C++, Python, or Scala, exposure to RDBMS and NoSQL datastores
  3. Strong programming and problem solving skills
  4. A clear understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design and core programming concepts
  5. Strong full-stack technical design and development skills and experience
  6. Comfortable with multi-tasking, managing multiple stakeholders and working as part of a team
  7. Excellent communication skills including experience speaking to technical & business audiences and working globally
  8. Interest in finance

Job Description:

  1. In an Agile environment manage end-to-end systems development cycle from requirements analysis to coding, testing, UAT, implementation and maintenance
  2. Develop high level/detailed technical designs, testing strategies, and implementation plans
  3. Work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment that provides exposure to all areas of Finance
  4. Understand and respond to business needs, facilitating and developing process workflow, data requirements, and specifications required to support implementation
  5. Build strong relationships with business partners
  6. Identify opportunities for cross-divisional collaboration and reuse of common solutions
