Job Designation : Software Engineer Intern

Qualification : Bachelor’s / Master’s degree

Experience : Freshers

Skill Set :

  1. Proficient in any one of the programming languages C, C++, Java, or Python.
  2. working knowledge of Unix/Linux, Windows or macOS environments.
  3. Familiar with distributed systems, machine learning, information retrieval and TCP/IP.
  4. Sound knowledge of data structures or algorithms.
  5. Experience developing accessible technologies.
  6. experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, and/or experience with compute technologies, storage, and/or hardware architecture.
  7. Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Preferred qualifications :
  1. Currently in your penultimate year of study
  2. Ability to work on projects related to mobile development, distributed and parallel systems, machine learning, information retrieval, natural language processing, networking, developing large software systems, or security software development.
  3. Ability to showcase tech projects and participate in computer science-related extracurricular activities.

Job Description :

Join us for a 10-12 week paid internship that offers personal and professional development, and community-building. The Software Engineering Internship program will give you an opportunity to work on computer science solutions, develop scalable, distributed software systems, and also collaborate on multitudes of smaller projects that have universal appeal.

  1. Research, create, and develop software applications to extend and improve on Google’s product offering.
  2. Contribute to a wide variety of projects utilizing natural language processing, artificial intelligence, data compression, machine learning, and search technologies.
  3. Collaborate on scalability issues involving access to large amounts of data and information.
  4. Work and support a productive and innovative team with peers, managers, and cross-functional teams.
Summer Internships start in May/June 2025 and are 10-12 weeks in duration.
