IBM hiring fresher Software Application Developer – Mobile Android with good knowledge of Android SDK,  Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.

Job Designation : Software Application Developer – Mobile Android

Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree

Experience : Freshers / Experienced

Skill Set :

1. Sound knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
2. Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.
3. Proven knowledge of Android UI design principles, patterns, and best practices.
4. Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications
5. Experience with offline storage, threading, and performance tuning.
6. Familiar with operating systems (Linux, Windows, iOS, Android).
7. Exposure to web services, Application frameworks, Databases.
8. Familiarity with generative ethics, and methodologies.
9. Have flexibility to work across architecture – building both front end and backend
10. Help maintain and improve code quality, organization, and automatization
11. Proficiency in working with Git repositories for version control and collaborative development
12. Good communication skills.

4. Ability to design/develop/support new/existing apps, and perform unit testing and integration testing
5. Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
