IBM seeking Fresher Full Stack Software Developer to join team of Firmware Engineers dedicated to crafting the most secure systems for our clients to deploy their enterprise applications.

Qualification : Bachelor’s Degree

Experience : Freshers

Skill Set :

  1. Strong Programming skills in Java, Javascript, Python, ReactJS.
  2. Proficiency in Java programming language and its ecosystems for building enterprise applications.
  3. Expertise in OS concepts, Container technologies, Security, Virtualization management REST API.
  4. Demonstrated execution experience of App cloud development / container technologies DevOp.
  5. Familiarity with cloud platforms (IBM Cloud/AWS/Azure/Google Cloud)
  6. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and CI/CD pipelines.
  7. Z Systems experience, Private cloud knowledge, Exposure to Catalog services, Microservices, Networking and Security would be added advantage.
  8. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  9. Good Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively within a global team environment.

Job Description :

As a Firmware Engineer, you will play a vital role in developing IO enablement firmware and boot firmware for z Servers, ensuring seamless operation and robust security.

  1. Firmware Development: Develop and maintain firmware for IBM z Systems, with a focus on IO enablement and boot firmware.
  2. Programming Expertise: Utilize C programming expertise in Linux environments to write and debug code effectively.
  3. Global Collaboration: Collaborate with a global team to design and implement firmware solutions, ensuring compatibility with Linux, zOS, and zVM operating systems.
  4. Communication Skills: Demonstrate strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and stakeholders.
  5. Agile Approach: Contribute to Agile methodologies and CI/CD practices within the Linux development environment, utilizing GitHub for version control.
