Skill Set :

  1. Proficient knowledge in programming languages C, C++, Java, Python etc.
  2. Good knowledge of . net core / GoLang / NodeJS  and SQL queries.
  3. Sound  knowledge  in web and ecommerce domain.
  4. Sound  knowledge of an object-oriented programming languages.
  5. Familiar working with relational databases (e.g. MySQL / Oracle).
  6. Good understanding of various software development lifecycle and testing.
  7. Good communication skills.

Job Description :

This position is for a development engineer for the McAfee Consumer Platform Operations team. The candidate will be responsible for resolving customer issues escalated to Engineering to deliver maximum customer satisfaction.
Candidate should be able to work in a dynamic fast paced environment resolving issues supporting multiple projects/applications.

  1. You are responsible for resolving customer issues escalated to Engineering to deliver maximum customer satisfaction within defined SLAs using SOPs or working with cross functional teams.
  2. You should have the ability to work independently on defined tasks and escalate in a timely manner when support/assistance is required.
  3. Work with teams to identify manual, repetitive tasks and identify means to automate or remove them.
  4. You will have opportunities to develop/support internal tools that will reduce manual and repetitive tasks.
  5. Your programming knowledge will provide opportunities to enhance existing internal tools.
  6. Work on troubleshooting issues with APM tools, develop dashboards in APM, Grafana, setup and modify alerts to enable monitoring for our SRE team.

This is a remote position; however you may be required to be onsite at our Bangalore office on as-needed basis.
