Oracle seeking for fresher Software Developer – Member Technical Staff with good programming knowledge in  C/C++ or Java, having familiarity with databases, NoSQL systems, storage and distributed persistence technologies.

Job Designation : Software Developer – Member Technical Staff

Salary : 8 LPA –  12 LPA

Qualification : Bachelor’s / Master’s degree

Experience : Freshers / 0-2 yrs

Skill Set :

  1. Proficient at programming in Linux, C/C++ , Java, JavaScript and Python.
  2. Proficient with commonly used networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP.
  3. Familiarity with databases, NoSQL systems, storage and distributed persistence technologies.
  4. Good knowledge of cloud platforms.
  5. Proficient with Linux based build and analysis tools (e.g. make, scons/cons, bazel).
  6. Familiarity with CICD environments
  7. Familiarity with Agile Development
  8. Proficient with commonly used networking protocols such as TCP/IP, HTTP
  9. Familiarity with docker containers
  10. Troubleshooting and performance tuning skills.
  11. Excellent coding, debugging and troubleshooting skills
  12. Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Job Description:

As a member of the software engineering division, you will apply basic to intermediate knowledge of software architecture to perform software development tasks associated with developing, debugging or crafting software applications or operating systems according to the provided design specifications. Build improvements within an existing software architecture and occasionally suggest improvements to the architecture.

  1. Monitor our service and proactively debug operational issues.
  2. Work with internal and external teams to diagnose performance issues.
  3. Automate and maintain build and test systems including systems for performance and scalability testing.
  4. Improve efficiency of the deployment processes across a fast-growing number of regions through automation and scale improvements to tools and dashboards.
  5. Participate in our on-call rotation and resolve complex distributed issues through debugging, communication and collaboration across multiple SRE teams across OCI.
  6. Improve our operational capabilities by developing runbooks, alarming, and building tools and documentation that enable customers to self-diagnose problems.
  7. Deploy our service in new regions and help to automate this process.
