Skill Set :

  1. Proficient at programming in Linux, C/C++ and Python.
  2. Sound knowledge of Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems and mobile devices.
  3. Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Confluence, Jira, Slack, and Endpoint Solutions.
  4. Working knowledge of a Ticketing System (Jira Service Management).
  5. Excellent coding, debugging and network troubleshooting skills.
  6. Good understanding of roles, processes, and procedures within a QA environment.
  7. Should be capable of multitask.
  8. Strong customer skills and customer oriented.
  9. Should have excellent communication skills English/Spanish (Oral & Written).

Job Description:

As an Associate Support Engineer, you will be the technical interface to internal customers for resolution of problems related to the installation, recommended maintenance, and hardware and software issues. Your primary task will be to provide level one support to customers who contact the Employee Support channels and maintain high level of customer satisfaction while meeting guidelines.

  1. Serve as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance over the phone, chat or in-person support.
  2. Provide direction in the use of resources and applications to Oracle employees, referring them to knowledge-based articles and online resources for more in-depth answers.
  3. Install, configure, and support workstation software, hardware, and printers.
  4. Implement applications and software upgrades and troubleshoot any performance issues.
  5. Troubleshoot system and network problems, diagnose, and solve hardware or software faults.
  6. Analyze issues, identify vulnerabilities and ways to improve efficiency and accuracy, and develop creative solutions.
  7. Serve as liaison between Oracle employees and laptop vendors to address and resolve hardware issues.
  8. Collaborate with others to resolve complex issues.
  9. Identify and suggest possible improvements on procedures.
  10. Pass on any feedback or suggestions by customers to the appropriate internal team.
  11. Participate in the testing and evaluation of new technology.
