PayPal looking for Backend Java Software Engineer with expertise in Java/Go, having strong Linux/system knowledge and proficiency in cloud platforms.
Job Designation : Software Engineer – Backend (Java)

Skill Set :
- Strong programming skills and proficiency in Java/Go programming.
- Strong Linux/system knowledge.
- Good understanding of software development life cycle ( SDLC ).
- Proficient in operating on cloud/container platform.
- Experience in designing & building highly scalable & reliable systems.
- Strong fundamentals and hands on experience workin with docker/containerization technology, Kubernetes.
- Working knowledge on any one of these cluster managers : Mesos/kubernetes/docker swarm. Mesos/K8 is a plus.
- Strong understanding of fundamental distributed system principles.
- Ability to analyze, triage and debug complex system level problems and issues.
- Good Problem solving & analysis skills.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
