Skill Set :

  1. Strong programming skills and proficiency in C programming.
  2. Proficient knowledge in system testing methodologies.
  3. Good understanding of software development life cycle 9  SDLC ).
  4. Sound programming skills in C/C++ and object oriented design.
  5. Good knowledge of Linux/UNIX, Linux Drivers, Linux Kernel Development.
  6. Ability to analyze, triage and debug complex system level problems and issues.
  7. Good Problem solving & analysis skills.
  8. Good communication skills both written and verbal.

Job Description :

  1. Tests and modifies general systems-level software/hardware, specialized utility and/or hardware.
  2. Interprets wireless specifications.
  3. Designs test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures. Documents systems-level defects, using a bug tracking system, and report defects to developers.
  4. Identifies, analyzes, troubleshoots, and documents problems with program function, output, or content.
  5. Develops testing programs that assess effectiveness of a new system or modification of an existing system.
  6. Collects basic information (e.g., logs, requirements) and identifies common errors related to systems testing.
  7. Conducts log analyses to identify where an issue has occurred.
  8. Discusses testing problems with manager and peers on a regular basis to maintain open communication.
  9. Communicates with tech leads on a project in order to verify the accuracy as well as adequate running time.
  10. Detects bugs in the “system under test” and resolves issues using basic debugging approaches.
  11. Escalates technical issues to more senior colleagues.
  12. Collaborates with individuals inside own team to complete project work.
