Skill Set :
- Strong programming skills and proficiency in C/C++/Python programming.
- Proficient knowledge in testing applications/software on Windows, Linux and Android.
- Expertise on Windows and Linux OS concepts and tools – bat script, linux commands.
- Good working knowledge with Windows, Linux and Android.
- Good knowledge of Linux/UNIX, Linux Drivers, Linux Kernel Development.
- Expertise in AI/Machine Learning technologies.
- Expertise in Wireless transmission systems for video and gaming applications and networking technologies – 802.11ad/ay, 802.11ac/ax.
- Expertise in Video technologies – Video Decode & Encode techniques.
- Ability to analyze, triage and debug complex system level problems and issues.
- Good Problem solving & analysis skills.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
Job Description :
The engineer’s role would be to support testing efforts for XR sw stack and adjacent technologies like game/3d app dev kits (unity 3d, unreal engine), connectivity (usb, wifi 6, Wifi 6E), multimedia(video, camera, graphics, audio, display).
- Write and execute testcases and device automation.
- Evaluate technologies, systems, and devices through testing, logging and analysis.
- Candidate must be able to create test environments using software and hardware tools.
- Develop test procedures, execute tests, and isolate problems.
- Develop automation systems for executing tests and parsing results.
- Develop app/test content for exercising new features.
- Actively study user experience to improve customer experience on Qualcomm MM solution across ARM based chipset product.
