Job Designation : Associate Software Test Engineer

Skill Set :

  1. Expertise with Programming Language such as C, C++, Java, Python, etc.
  2. Proficient with Software Test or System Test, developing and automating test plans and/or tools.
  3. Strong programming skills and proficiency in C programming.
  4. Proficient knowledge in system testing methodologies.
  5. Good understanding of software development life cycle 9  SDLC ).
  6. Sound programming skills in C/C++ and object oriented design.
  7. Good knowledge of Linux/UNIX, Linux Drivers, Linux Kernel Development.
  8. Ability to analyze, triage and debug complex system level problems and issues.
  9. Good Problem solving & analysis skills.
  10. Good communication skills both written and verbal.

Job Description :

Applies software and systems knowledge to assist and support the design, development, creation, and modification of test cases and validation of embedded software, cloud software, system algorithms, application software, automation and/or specialized utility programs.

  1. Designs and implements basic test plans, scenarios, scripts, or procedures to identify a failure within a determined area of code.
  2. Writes functional tests for features to ensure functionality.
  3. Assists in the identification, analyses, and documentation of software defects.
  4. Collaborates with others inside of project team to accomplish project objectives and improve the overall quality of the product.
  5. Assists in the development of test case automations and/or scripts to improve productivity.
