Red Hat is looking for a Software Quality Engineer to work with Quality Engineering Team to work on Certifying  Red Hat’s OpenShift Container Platform, built on container technology and the Kubernetes cluster management system.

Experience : Freshers / Experienced

Skill Set :

  1. Programming skills in shell and Python.
  2. Knowledge of test infra development using Virtual VM’s and Containerized environments.
  3. Knowledge of the Linux operating system (any distribution) and CICD using Openshift Tekton pipeline and Jenkins.
  4. Familiarity with testing methodologies and techniques.
  5. Testing experience working with globally distributed QE team members.
  6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly.
  7. Solid written and verbal communication skills in English.

Job Description :

Software Quality Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of quality for Certification including designing test plans, extending automation frameworks, and developing new automated tests for both back and front ends.  You will make sure our solutions fulfill the highest possible enterprise quality, specifically around Performance and Scalability. As a Software Quality Engineer, you will gain a deep technical understanding of a variety of popular technologies, including containers, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, etc.

  1. Design, develop and maintain automation frameworks, scripts and performance benchmarking tools with Python for OpenShift testing and implementation.
  2. Conduct new feature research and design test cases with emphasis on Performance and Scalability.
  3. Execute manual and automated tests for OpenShift and deliver clear status in a timely manner.
  4. Explore, identify and document new bugs.
  5. Advocate for the resolution of bugs and communicate the impact on customers to developers and support.
  6. Constantly learn new things and maintain an overview of current technologies.
  7. Work in a fast-paced Agile global environment of talented Quality Engineers.
