Red Hat is looking for a Software Quality Engineer to work with Quality Engineering Team to work on Certifying  Red Hat’s OpenShift Container Platform, built on container technology and the Kubernetes cluster management system.

Job Designation : Associate Software Quality Engineer

Qualification :  Bachelor’s Degree

Experience : Freshers

Skill Set :

1. Programming skills in shell and Python.
2. Knowledge of user interface (UI) automation using Selenium or any other open source tool like Cypress and API automation.
3. Hands-on experience with a programming language: Java or python.
4. Knowledge of APIs, HTTP communication and Performance testing of web applications
5. Knowledge of software testing and engineering concepts
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Job Description :

Software Quality Engineer will be responsible for all aspects of quality for Certification including designing test plans, extending automation frameworks, and developing new automated tests for both back and front ends.  You will make sure our solutions fulfill the highest possible enterprise quality, specifically around Performance and Scalability. As a Software Quality Engineer, you will gain a deep technical understanding of a variety of popular technologies, including containers, Kubernetes, Red Hat OpenShift, etc.

1. Contribute to automated test strategies, methodologies, processes, and procedures.
2. Understand existing project architectures and associated infrastructure pieces to support the QE methodology, process, and procedures.
3. Contribute to weekly team meetings
4. Provide an accurate and timely status of testing efforts and quality statistics to the product leadership team
