Ways of Working: Remote : Employees will have the freedom to work remotely all through the year. These employees, who form a large majority, will come together in their base location for a week, once every quarter.

Job Designation : Software Development Engineer in Test

Qualification :  Bachelor’s / Master’s degree

Experience : Freshers / 0 – 2 years

Skill Set :

  1. Proficient in Automation Testing.
  2. Should have a good understanding of relational databases like Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server.
  3. Should have hands-on experience in Java – Test automation. ·
  4. Experience in any scripting language like python,·
  5. Hands-on Experience on latest technologies for backend and front end development like react js, angular, Golang, servlet, bootstrap, input stream processing, JavaScript, NodeJS is a big plus.
  6. Must have experience in TestNG, Maven, HTTP client, rest and web services test automation, Selenium, Appium.
  7. Must have a good understanding of DB queries, joins, etc
  8. Ability to collaborate effectively within a team.
  9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Job Description :

As an Software Test Development Engineer at Swiggy, you’ll be at the forefront of ensuring the reliability and functionality of our platform that thousands of restaurant partners rely on for seamless operations

  • SDET is responsible for the addition of new capabilities and features in the automation framework which is used by the entire QA team for test automation. You are also responsible for managing and maintaining test coverage through periodic reports to engineering and stakeholders.
  • Will play an expert role and demands a complete hands-on contribution on Single or multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Must be an Independent executioner and has prior experience in handling complex projects with stakeholders. ·
  • Must have prior experience in creating optimal test strategy (Including Functional, Non-Functional, Analytics and automation) and test plans for short term and long-term projects both. ·
  • Must have understanding and implementation level experience on design pattern.
