Thermo Fisher looking for fresher graduates with sound knowledge of Java, JavaScript, Python programming and software development lifecycle for the role of Software Developer.

Skill Set :

  1. Solid development experience using Java, JavaScript, Python programming.
  2. Proficeint knowledge in SQL, schema and db experience/ XML and JSON.
  3. Very good with data structures, design patterns, object-oriented design and algorithms used in programming.
  4. Familiar with Linux & Windows platform.
  5. Good knowledge of Jira, Git Hub/ SVN, GitLab, Confluence.
  6. Sound knowledge of software development lifecycle, including working with requirements, creation of functional/design specifications, code reviews, code coverage and engaging in process Improvements.
  7. Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail.
  8. Excellent partnership and collaboration skills.
  9. Excellent interpersonal skills.

As a Software Engineer, you will join team with varied strengths of developers to participate in the specification, design, testing, maintenance, and implementation of software for analytical, bioproduction instruments and allied products. This software, and these instruments a make a real, positive, and strong impact on the lives of people across the globe.

  1. Participate in code, design, and test plan reviews.
  2. Maintain post launch product software, provide resolution to product quality issues.
  3. Work with both Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  4. Comfortable working with CI/CD environments
  5. Work with IEC team locally and global software team members to deliver complete and high-quality software applications to schedule and specification.
  6. Establishes, maintains detailed and accurate documentation of all work.
  7. Demonstrate strong sense of ownership and drive.
  8. Adaptability and ability to work independently.
