Job Designation : Software Development Test Engineer – QA Tester

Qualification : Bachelor’s / Master’s degree

Experience : Freshers / 0 – 3 years

Skill Set :

1. Good understanding of  automated testing within the software development lifecycle.
2. Proficiency with a scripting language (Java,Python), SQL
3. Experience with Automation Testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium, TestNG, JUnit).
4. Expertise in Authentication and Authorization and web security testing.
5. Experience working in Agile scrum or extreme programming environments, a participant in estimation and planning.
6. Professional experience in creating frameworks to run performance tests.
7. Good knowledge in Test Management process.
8. Strong communication and organizational skills.

Job Description :

As an Automation Testing Engineer you’ll craft software tools and scripts to amplify our automated testing framework, seamlessly integrating functional, integration, and performance testing within our Continuous Integration System.

Your role involves designing, coding, and validating automated tests for new features, enhancements, and products. Execute test plans, track and verify fixes, and maintain top-notch automation code quality through innovative testing techniques. Work successfully with developers, DevOps, and project managers, playing a key role in delivering exceptional products to a diverse range of customers.

1. Design, plan, code and validate automated tests for software components, feature enhancements or new products.
2. Review requirements, specifications, user documentation, help files, and other project documentation to assure quality of the products and tests to be developed.
3. Work with the Development team to capture and reuse automated test suites and with the Release Engineering team to build and deploy the automation build on QA or release or production servers.
4. Trace the test results on the regularly-scheduled test updates and results back to specific quality risks promptly.
5. Ensure proper version control and configuration management of all test objects developed and test environments used.
