Uber hiring fresher graduates with strong understanding of core computer science concepts, having expertise in a high-level programming language GoLang, Java, or C++ for the role of Staff Software Engineer 

Job Designation : Staff Software Engineer

Qualification : Bachelor’s  degree

Experience : Freshers

Skill Set :

1. Strong expertise in a high-level programming language GoLang, Java, or C++.
2. Strong knowledge of any one programming knowledge. Deep understanding of computer systems.
3. Has built and operationalised systems at scale. Lead engineering teams to tackle complex problems and has a bias towards execution.
4. Experience in building end consumer facing products.
5. Excellent coding, debugging and troubleshooting skills
6. Excellent collaboration and communication skills.

Job Description:

1. Looking for a staff engineer who is a distributed system generalist, is curious about how different systems tackle problems at scale.
2. Work in the batch storage infra at Uber.
3. Build and maintain and operationalise distributed copy system to move the multi petabyte replication service that moves data from one region to another with low latency.
