Job Designation : Software Developer

Qualification :  Bachelor’s / Master’s degree

Experience : Freshers / 0 – 2 years

Skill Set :

1. Understanding of software architecture.
2. Proficient knowledge of industry standard modeling methodologies and guidelines.
3. Basic Awareness of all Products / Platforms of Whirlpool.
4. Proficient knowledge of C programming.
5. Basic of OPEX,Basic Product Requirements methodology.
6. Expereicned in working cross functionally and globally.
7. Proficient knowledge in control software development following structured software design and implementation practices.
8. Proficient / hand on experience of Matlab/Simulink/ Dymola and embedded coder tool box.
9. Proficient experience with Simulink Test, V&V, Report Generation toolboxes.
10. Proficient in software/hardware interfacing, advanced data acquisition and control systems such as dSPACE, ETAS, XPC, Labview etc.
11. Profcient of numerical methods and dynamic system modeling.
12. Sound understanding of Motor architectures and motor control strategies.
13. Proficient in Product / Platform knowledge where he or she deployed.
14. Proficiency in Linkage of VoC & Product functions / features (Excluding SBD/CAD).
15. Able to connect FMEA / DVPR / FBD / Product map with Project Execution.
16. Proficient in Component Level knowledge and interfaces of component in susbsystem.

Job Description :

The Software Engineering team designs, develops or coordinates development/troubleshooting or debugging of moderately complex software programs for enhancements and new products. Performs high-level design/modeling to convert stakeholder needs into software solutions. Develops software and tools in support of design, infrastructure and technology platforms. Determines hardware compatibility and/or influences hardware design. Develops the architectural guidelines, specifications, and technical standards and communicates to stakeholders.

1. Software development tools such as debuggers, emulators for validation of generated code.
2. Responsible to perform MIL/SIL/PIL V&V and algorithm modeling with supervision.
3. Eclipse & IAR compiler, Dymola, Matlab/Simulink toolchain.
4. IBM Jazz CLM toolchain.
5. Develop dynamical physical systems models, to represent appliance behavior or a motor/motor control behavior.
6. Sound understanding of motors and various motor control strategies.
7. Software models that can be utilized for model-in-loop, software-in-loop and processor-in-loop based verification and validation of algorithm models.
8. Generating test reports and bringing closure to the defects reported.
9. Capable to develop algorithm models, including state machines, with reference to the algorithm requirements.
10. Generating code from the software models, looking at the target processor / hardware.
