Skill Set :

  1. Solid programming/scripting skills with C, C++, Java, Python, Bash.
  2. Expertise in any RDBMS such as Oracle, MySQL, or MS SQL Server.
  3. Familiarity with DevOps processes and agile methodologies.
  4. Sound knowledge of HTML, XHTML, JavaScript and DevOps.
  5. Familiarity with testing methodologies and techniques.
  6. Strong level of curiosity and interest to learn.
  7. Excellent problem solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  8. Solid written and verbal communication skills.

Job Description :

As a Data Developer, you will design, build, and implement critical processes for the subscription-based billing system. This person will partner with teams including e-commerce, Salesforce, Oracle, Zuora, Data engineering, etc to architect solutions. The ideal candidate needs to have a thorough understanding of PL/SQL and relational world. SaaS/Subscription business models using cloud-native technologies.   1. Design, develop, and maintain PL/SQL code, writing complex queries and optimizing them for performance and efficiency.
  2. Ensure the integrity, performance, and security of PL/SQL applications while performing data modeling and relational database design.
  3. Develop and maintain PL/SQL applications, collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate them with REST-based APIs.
  4. Oversee database schema design, indexing, and partitioning to optimize performance. Monitor database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to enhance system efficiency.
  5. Conduct regular database audits and maintenance tasks, including backups, restores, and migrations.
  6. Be open to working within a closed-stack system built on the Zuora Platform, supporting customer subscription and billing journey management for SaaS products.
