Today’s world is known as globalized for different reasons from evolution of people and technology, changing lifestyles, cultural transactions between different states and countries, growing health awareness, unconventional ways of doing business, and many more. During the process of globalization “we”, humans encroached natural places in such a way that we had never ever even thought about natural diversity and living organisms present in the environment. This lockdown period is given a ray of hope for mother earth if humans are locked inside their spaces so that I can breathe. Make an optimum usage of this lockdown period and go inside your mind and think once about the surroundings rather than looking outside. Nature is capable enough to recover itself if we lived our shelter for a while.
Without wasting much time lets jump on to the various positive aspects of the lockdown
- Pollution
The world itself describes the global issue, being it Air, Water, Sound, and Soil, and others. Every person on the planet earth is aware and knows the adverse effects of pollution and people are taking lots of efforts in order to fight with such kind of manmade crisis. Lockdown is the time when people have stayed at their homes for precautions, which resulted in a reduction in pollution levels, especially air pollution. As far as India is considered, it has been observed an improvement in air quality index after lockdown. Almost all the metropolitan cities in India have been breathing good quality of air from a few days, especially after the lockdown.

- Wildlife is seeking for places in human territory
From a significant decrease in the pollution levels and lonely streets could be one of the reasons for wild animals to enjoy the city tour and saw humans locked inside their homes. The outbreak of COVID-19 is actually helping animals to look beyond the boundaries drawn by humans. Recently, a group of dolphins was spotted in marine drive, Mumbai, which is unbelievable. Additionally, at Rushikulya beach of Ganjam district of Odisha witnessed Olive Ridley sea turtles across its six-kilometer long beach, which have come ashore for mass nesting in the past few days due to the effect of lockdown and coronavirus.
